North Beach

North Beach will open Friday June 23, 2017.

High water levels have reduced the size of the beaches at North Beach Provincial Park.

There is a Piping Plover nesting on the shore of Lake Ontario.  Parking is limited as sections of the park including the park store are closed and access is restricted to protect this Endangered species.

What You'll Like :

  • Over one kilometre ribbon of sand shelters tiny North Beach from Lake Ontario
  • The sandy beach is a great place to picnic on a summer day
  • Swim or boat in the sheltered waters of the bay or the more open Lake Ontario
  • A quieter park than its more famous neighbour - Sandbanks
