This park is opposite the once furious Long Sault rapids around
which voyageurs portaged on their way up the Ottawa River. The Carillon
dam raised water levels and created a shoreline of marshes and inlets
full of birds and wildlife. Explore on foot, by canoe or, in winter,
on skis. Educational programs are in French and English.
Bringing your own supply of firewood to the park this summer? Please read this.
