Canoes or car top boats can be launched from the park and may set out for a quiet exploration of nature along the shores and in the marshes. For larger boats, launching and storage facilities are available at a marina (two kilometres west of the park). (Because of current low lake levels at the present time, launching of small canoes and car top boats is not feasible)
