Natural Heritage Education staff at Rainbow Falls offer campfires, movies, slide presentations and children's programs. Most programs take place on weekends in the West Beach cabin at Whitesand Lake Campground.

Rainbow Falls sponsors the Rossport Islands Sea Kayak Symposium traditionally held on the fourth weekend in June.

The popular Canoe Regatta and Corn Roast is held annually on the holiday weekend at the beginning of August. Presentations, games and friendly competition celebrate the history of the canoe.
