Hiking
Forest Fire Trail 2.4 km (1.5 hours) easy
Explore the flora and fauna of Obatanga along this self-guided trail through a boreal forest.

Fishing
Fishing is good for walleye, northern pike and perch. Special limits apply within the park. You can catch only two walleye -- one under 40 cm (15.7") and one over 40 cm (15.7").A fish sanctuary is in place in the Knife and Obatanga Lake area from March 15th to June 15th. Boating
A boat launch for small boats is located between the two campgrounds.

Swimming
A fine sand beach stretches along the shore of Burnfield Lake next to the campgrounds. The water near shore is shallow and warm, and a buoyed area makes it ideal for family swimming.
