Camping
McRae Point has 203 campsites, 166 of which have electrical service. Most are suitable for large travel trailers and 125 are pull-through sites suited for large recreational vehicles. All sites have fire pits and picnic tables. There are comfort stations with flush toilets and showers, water taps for fresh drinking water and vault toilets scattered throughout the campgrounds. There is also a trailer sanitation station in the park. All sites are within easy walking distance to the day use area. Reservations are available for the Victoria Day weekend, then again from the 3rd Friday in June until Labour Day, during the spring and fall seasons, sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Picnics and Day Use
Come for a day of swimming, picnicking and boating. Launch your sailboat or motorboat at the park's boat launch and cruise on lakes Simcoe and Couchiching and the Trent-Severn Waterway. Windsurfing and waterskiing are also popular. Enjoy our Pet Play Area. This area is designated for our visitors to take their pets to enjoy a cool swim on a hot summer day. Remember - Pets are to be leashed, no more than 2 metres, at all times and the stoop and scoop policy is in effect. This includes the Pet Play Area.

Electric Sites -166 of our 203 campsites have 15/30 amp. electrical service, a number of these can accommodate large travel trailer or recreational vehicles and 125 are pull-though sites.

Barrier Free Access - The comfort station in the North campground, beside campsite 53, is barrier free.

Showers - Yes

Flush Toilets - Yes

Play Area - Yes, a play area is located in the day use area. We also have swings, volleyball nets and horseshoe pits. Ask at the Registration Office for any equipment needs.

Boat Launch - Yes, our launch can accommodate a boat up to 20'. We also have 2 docks available for temporary docking.
