Park Activities

Education
Staff Naturalists offer a range of events and activities throughout the summer, including guided hikes and campfires. Check the bulletin board by the Park Store for scheduled programs.

Canoeing - Inquire about surrounding routes.

Wildlife Viewing
Moose, bear, timber wolf, lynx, fox and marten roam this park.

Birding
Blue heron, pileated woodpecker, loon, herring gull, blue-winged teal and other waterfowl are common here.

Boating
Motorboats are prohibited on all of the park lakes except Hughes Lake. Canoeing is a pleasant way to enjoy the other lakes, but because they are kettle lakes, they are not linked.

Swimming
Seven sandy beaches are located at seven different lakes. Three beaches are large, the other four are smaller and more secluded.

Cycling
Rent a bicycle or bring your own and explore 40 km of gravel and paved roads throughout Kettle Lakes. The park is expanding and developing more trails for mountain bikes.

Other
Kettle Lakes has horseshoe pits, volleyball nets and a baseball diamond.
