Very deep, clear water in the kettle lakes support healthy fish populations year round. Hughes and Mud Lakes at the north end of the park - the only lakes in the park that are not kettle lakes - have good populations of northern pike. Speckled trout, rainbow trout and smallmouth bass are found in some of the other lakes, several of which are stocked annually.
