Changing or Cancelling an Internet Reservation

Reservations made on the Ontario Parks Internet Reservation System may be cancelled on the reservation Web site.  The applicable cancellation or change penalty (10-50%) will apply based on how long your reservation has been held or a minimum penalty of $8.90 will be charged. Reservations made by telephone cannot be cancelled on the reservation Web site. To change your internet reservation you must call 1-888-668-7275.  The applicable penalty to shorten your stay (10-50%) will apply based on how long your reservation has been held.  For administrative changes such as changes to name and campsite number, the $8.90 fee will be applied. Reservations cannot be changed or cancelled more than four months in advance of your arrival.

Cancellations and changes to the arrival date must be made by 12:00 noon (EST) on the day of arrival.  For cancellations or to shorten your stay a penalty (10-50%) will be charged based on how long your reservation has been held.  For example, if your reservation has been held for 1 month or less, a penalty of 10% will apply, more than 1 month up to 2 months - 20%, more than 2 months up to 3 months - 30%, etc. to a maximum of 50%.  Reservations cancelled or changed after this time will be charged the “no show” fee.  A “no show” will result in the reservation being cancelled and a penalty of the first night’s camping fee, plus the applicable percentage penalty (10-50%) for the other cancelled night (not including the $11.85 non refundable reservation fee).  To view a chart displaying escalating penalties please refer to All Reservations under Reservation Rules and Policies.
