Hiking
Achilles Lake Trail 1 km return (45 minutes) easy

Fire Tower Trail 7 km return (2 hours) strenuous
This trail leads to one of the few original fire lookout towers left in Ontario.

Fishing
Fish for pickerel, pike, whitefish and perch, then clean your catch at a fish cleaning hut close to the boat launch.

Wildlife Viewing
In the campground, watch for common showshoe hares, chipmunks and squirrels. Along the access road, you might see moose and bear but only rarely will red fox, marten, lynx and beaver cross your path.

Boating - Launch your boat and dock at the park.

Swimming
The sandy beach, shallow, clear water and buoyed area are perfect for family swimming. There are no change facilities.
