Education - A visiting expert provides owl prowls twice weekly and talks about the barred owls that make Caliper Lake their home.

Hiking
Beaver Pond Trail 2.7 or 4 km (1.5 or 3 hours) moderate

Fishing - Caliper Lake's clean, warm waters are home to northern pike, walleye, and small mouth bass.

Canoeing - Day trippers or long distance paddler can enjoy Caliper Lake. Bring your own canoe or rent one at the park.

Wildlife Viewing - Loons, grouse, eagles, ospreys and barred owls nest in the region, and white pelican has become more common in recent years. You might see a deer or bear while hiking on the park's trails.

Boating - Caliper Lake is easily navigable with few water hazards. A boat launch and docking facilities are available in the park.

Swimming - Clear, shallow water, a floating platform and a sandy beach make Caliper Lake ideal for family swimming.
