Natural Features

Mixed forest thrives on this early Precambrian landscape which contains an esker, outwash plain, moraine, and other landforms resulting from the last ice age. An esker is a narrow, winding ridge of gravel or sand, deposited by the melting waters under a glacier.

Park Facilities and Activities

There are no facilities. Park visitors may enjoy sportfishing, boating, backcountry canoeing and camping.

Location: About 75 kilometres northeast of Ignace and 140 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
