Camping
Bass Lake has 182 campsites, 92 of which have electrical service.
All sites have fire pits and picnic tables. There are comfort stations
with flush toilets and showers, water taps for fresh drinking water
and vault toilets scattered throughout the campgrounds. There is
also a trailer sanitation station located in the park. Reservations are available for the Victoria Day weekend until Labour Day, during
the spring and fall seasons, sites are available on a first-come,
first-served basis.
Group Camping - Bass
Lake has three group camping sites, one that accommodates 45 people,
and two that accommodate 75 people. Water taps and vault toilets
are available on site. Reservations can be made by calling the park
directly at (705) 326-7054.
Picnics and Day Use
On the shores of Bass Lake are picnic grounds with three picnic
shelters and a playground for the children.
The picnic shelters, with barbecues, are available on a reservation
basis for your next company or family picnic. Contact the park directly
for shelter information and reservations.
Electric Sites - 92 of our 182 campsites
have 15/30 amp electrical service, a number of these can accommodate
large travel trailers or recreational vehicles.
Barrier Free Access - The campground
comfort stations and the paved first half kilometre of the Waterview
Trail are barrier free.
Showers - Yes, in the comfort station
at Lakeview and between Hilltop and Eastside campgrounds
Flush Toilets - Yes, throughout the park
Play Area - Yes, a large play field is
located beside the Eastside campground. We also have swings and horseshoe pits. Ask at the Registration Office for any
equipment needs.
Boat Launch - Yes, our launch can accommodate
a boat up to 20'. We also have docks available for temporary docking
Rentals
Our boat rentals include canoes, small motor boats and pedal
boats.
Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) are available at the Registration
Office. For a $25 refundable deposit, you can borrow a properly
fitted PFD for you and your children.
