The Stone cottage is located directly on the shores of Georgian
Bay
· Beautiful sunsets and unobstructed views of Giants
Tomb, Hope, Beckwith and Christian Islands.
· A rustic cottage experience
· Sleeps a maximum of six people in two bedrooms.
· Small bedroom (measures 10' X 12') has 2 twin-size
beds, closet and shelving for clothes
· Large bedroom (measures 15' X20') has 1 queen size
bed and 2 twin-size beds (bunked arrangement), 3 drawer dresser,
closet and gas fireplace
· All bed mattresses are protected with neoprene covers.
· Exterior is constructed out of fieldstone and mortar
and the over 1000 square foot interior
has all floors, walls, and ceilings, finished entirely in
white and red pine.
· 2 propane gas fireplaces heat the cottage (one located
in the large bedroom and one located in the central living
room).
· Swimming area directly in front of the cottage
· Fire pit and picnic table are provided beside the
cottage.
· 300 square foot deck with 6 wooden deck chairs overlooking
Georgian Bay.
· No running water, in-door toilets, or electricity
· Short walk to Vault Privy / Outhouse.
· Drinking water will be provided in 4-gallon jugs
from the Park's campground water system.
· Pets are not permitted in the cottage or on the cottage
site so do not bring them. If you do, you will not be allowed
access to the cottage.
· Smoking will not be permitted in the cottage.
· Parking at the site for 3 vehicles
· Alcoholic beverages are permitted only in the cottage,
outside on deck, or at the firepit area.
· Large kitchen and dining area includes refrigerator,
stove, cupboards, sink, kitchen table and 6 chairs, and bar
style counter with 4 chairs.
· Living room offers spectacular view of Georgian Bay,
and is furnished with 2 upholstered love seats, 2 upholstered
chairs, coffee and end tables, and a 15 foot long window seat.
· Outdoor living space includes a beach, campfire area,
a 136 square foot covered porch plus almost 300 square
feet of deck surface.
· Broom, dustpan, mop and pail.
·
Private road and parking for 3 vehicles.
· B.B.Q. and fire pit (some wood provided).
· Note: all appliances and heat sources are propane
powered.
· 5 battery powered lanterns.
· Stove top hot water kettle.

information pertinent to Awenda's Cottage: |
· Rental agreement must be signed prior to occupying the cottage.
· Keys and Rental agreement can only be obtained at the Campground Office.
· Cottage is only available for rent during the Parks
normal operating season.
· Cottage occupants responsible for housekeeping.
Note: Domestic animals (pets) are NOT permitted in the facility or on site and smoking is prohibited in all facilities.
