Hiking
Aspen Trail 1.9 km (1 hour) easy

Eastern White Cedar Trail 1.2 km (1 hour) easy

Picnics and Day Use
The picnic area has tables, toilet facilities and a large picnic shelter that can be reserved in advance for large groups.

Fishing
Spring is the best time to catch lake trout. Cast your line all season for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass.

Canoeing
Aaron can be used as a starting point for several major canoe routes.

Wildlife Viewing
Red squirrels and snowshoe hares are common. You might also see moose, white-tailed deer and black bears.

Boating
Launch your boat at the north end of the park. Thunder Lake is great for power boating and sailing.

Swimming
Two sandy beaches slope into clear, shallow water, perfect for family swimming.

Cycling
There are no dedicated cycling trails.

Winter Activities
Try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing at Aaron.
